Robert Sheehan 'loving' Series 3 of 'Misfits'Wednesday, 30 November 2011
Actor Robert Sheehan has discussed how Misfits has "progressed and graduated" in its third series, which has seen his character Nathan replaced by This Is England '86 star Joe Gilgun.
Speaking at the launch of BBC One's new adaptation of The Borrowers last night in London, which CultBox attended, Sheehan commented: "I've seen the first episode of the new series - I'm loving it. It's kind of evolved into a new show. It's progressed and graduated."
The actor plays tearaway Spiller in The Borrowers, which will air this Christmas and also stars Christopher Eccleston (Doctor Who), Stephen Fry, Victoria Wood, Aisling Loftus (Dive) and Sharon Horgan (Pulling).
Misfits continues next Sunday on E4 with Series 3 Episode 6, in which Rudy discovers that he has a strange superpower STD after a drunken one-night-stand with a mysterious girl.
